Very good product - High quality metal shed

Ok, first of all keep in mind that you are buying a metal shed for 800$ so yeah all is not perfect but it is really a good product with a decent instruction guide. The french translation was horrible but the schema was clear enough to complete it. Like any recipe, read it all before you start, it will save you plenty of time. For mine we were 2 men and it took us 25 hours to complete it but I had the extra floor kit (sold separately), the extra roof beam for snow load (also sold separately) and the workbench for extra storage (guest what, sold separately too). In details, the base with the preparation like removing the grass and filling it with 0-3/4 stone took us 10 hours. And I chose to cover it at start with my plywood which was a good idea cause the rest went smoothly with a solid floor under our feet. The guide suggest at least 5/8 plywood so I went for 3/4. The issue I had was that the bottom of stud hole was a little to high so it made my setup a little unalign and if you buy the anchor kit, buy some steal cable to use the aternate fixing method cause the hook of the anchor are too high compare to the base kit, so its hard to fix the floor to the base kit and it unalign your 4 corner for the future steps. The second main step was the shed itself. It took us 12 hours to put together. You will need 2 men with 2 stepladders and 2 drills. Like I said early, I bougth the extra roof beam so of you don't have them it will take you 11 hours instead of 12 hours. If you plan to buy them, do it before your shed is build cause you need to fix the beams before the roof panels. The beams add 4 new beams which you will need to drill new holes to fix them and double the 2 simple beams you already have. In my opinion they are totally worth the extra 250$. For the side panel, the hole was hard to fit but they all fit so don't fix them just to fix them cause you will not fit when it will be the time to build the roof. The doors was easy to put together and was easy to adjust to close perfectly. My only issue was my plywood floor that was blocking the bottom of my doors so I cut a 45 degrees in the bottom of my doors studs and i curv up the bottom steel plate to give more space for my doors to slide. My last step was to build my workbench. It took us 3 hours to complete. For this, I had to drill new holes to fix it (all well explain in the manual). It cost me 60$ plus 40$ for my plywood sheet but it adds so much storage space. It is worth it too. The vinyl metal of this shed is really robust compare to my old metal shed. This product is probably the best of it's category. You should buy it and call sick a couple of days cause time is the only issue you will really have with this shed.

I built it myself with no help over two days using my trusty Makita Driver and a 3/8 combination wrench. The instruction's worked well for me (lots of fairly clear drawings) I used metal folding saw horses and some clamps to hold the frame up while screwing it together, a helper would work instead if you have one. The only confusing thing was where to use the plastic washers, pay attnetion to the drawings or you'll use them in the wrong places and run out However, Arrow sent me two extra sheets of them through the mail for free. I added four extra beams to the roof for snow strengthening. It looks good in my yard and keeps things out of sight.

Nice looking shed. Beats the usual metal shed look

As with all pre-fabricated metal buildins, no matter what you do to ensure that the shed is square and level, some holes just do not match up, causing frustrating situations. Come loaded with a high level of patience, and ensure that you have help! You can not do this by yourself. The instructions require that you pre-assemble the foundation pieces, top rails and beams. My recommendation would be to refer the back of the instructions and re-assemble the gables and the doors as well. In my opinion, the doors could have been pre-assembled at the factory. Your assembly of the building will go much faster. All in all, a nice looking building!

I just finished setting this shed up. I knew it was going to be a lot of work but it turned out to be even more than I thought. Everything went together well and it looks good but if you are not mechanically inclined I would buy something easier. That being said, this looks more like a shed to me than some of those plastic dollhouse models. You can prep the base, roof beams and doors prior to the main build. I recommend 3 people 3 ladders. One person, who is fully reading the manual, should be bringing material to the other two, who both have cordless drills set to the proper torque. Even with three people, give yourself 5-6 hours to put it together.

Only issue we had is that the picture was misleading that the door was on the widest part of the shed but was actually on the 10' side not 12' so we had to build on to the floor we were using as the base.

My only beef with this product was the sheet metal screws. I had a hard time with several not wanting to thread into the pre-drilled holes. Most went in like they were designed to do, but several just spun without biting the metal. On one occasion, while bearing down to get the screw to bite I slipped off and put a hole to the side wall from the bit. Then I said a naughty word. One other problem area was put the bolts through the last roof cap from the front of the shed. You need a VERY lite person to stretch across the top to hold the bolts in place while you start the nuts from below. Aside these two problems, I am very happy with this product and would buy another. I was able to assemble this 10 x 14 shed by myself except for help with the roof cap. I didn't hurry and took my time over two days reading the instructions and following the steps one at a time.

The quality is pretty good but the assembly instructions are terrible and the actual assembly is a nightmare. You must have 2 people and a lot of time to assemble. "At least 5 days" I would not buy another one...

It does the job, but is not "easy to assemble" as the description states. There are literally hundreds to tiny screws and bolts. Maybe it's easy if you have tiny hands. Many of the holes did not line up - nothing to do with being level and square - they did not line up on parts of the door where level and square were irrelevant. Also make sure you have plenty of silicone on hand. A few of the roof screws leaked and all around the base/foundation (to be expected). Still having a problem with the threshold. I have drain holes facing out, but a lot of water getting under it or running down the doors. I'm sure it can be sealed. Came with a lot of deep scratches - no reply from Arrow customer service regarding touch up paint they refer to in the instructions.

Lots of old style screws. Should be Robertson! Takes too long for installation!
